Rainbow Dreams
Rainbow Dreams was a quilting and embroidery project I conducted with Shuman Juvenille Detention Center. The young men and women created collaborative quilts that are displayed in common areas. Participants experienced untapped creativity, problem solving through art and team work beyond an athlectic mind set. The project was generously funded by the now defunct Multicultural Arts Initiative and most recently, The Pittsburgh Foundation.
